Customized ad creation for instant MySpace circulation

Adbuilder was a Flash 9 / Flex project with a fully featured editor that allowed the user to design and construct an advertisement for instant circulation on MySpace's extensive banner network.

Citrusbyte was called upon to clean up the bloated and buggy solution created by another agency. Taking out nearly 75% of the existing code, we were able to replace it with a best-practices framework that allowed the adbuilder to work simply and elegantly.

The features were extensive: Users could select or construct templates, as well as manipulate uploaded images and text by rotating, scaling, flipping, or coloring individual layers.

The interface incorporated MySpace Approval submission and provided access to Ad Demographics, price-per-click data, and circulation launch dates.

The adBuilder featured in-house designed templates and a multi-step process to easily guide users through the creation, targeting, and release process in the MySpace ecosystem.
